The Safety of Hire Boats on Inland Waterways

 

The Maritime and Coastguard Agency (MCA) has issued for consultation a draft code of practice for the design, construction and safe operation of (powered) hire boats on inland waterways.  AINA, through its Safety Issues Group, has worked closely with MCA and the British Marine Federation (BMF) in the preparation of the draft Code.
