Residential use of inland waterways: An AINA advisory document
AINA has today published its advisory document on the residential use of inland waterways.
Philip Burgess, AINA Executive Director said, “The residential use of inland waterways has proved to be a very complex issue to cover and has required the input and expertise of many people both within and outside the AINA membership. I am most grateful to all those people for their contributions and their patience.”
He added, “This document has been a long time in preparation as the intricacies of the ways in which various navigation authorities approach residential moorings needed to be researched and understood. The result is a meaningful, factual and non-contentious output which will assist navigation authorities, planners and a wide range of waterway stakeholders.”
