Waterways Trust/BURA Awards for 2008
Do you know anyone with an award winning Waterside regeneration project…?Well there are only a couple of weeks left to get recognition in The Waterways Renaissance Awards 2008 with The Waterways Trust and BURA
BURA, The Waterways Trust and all our category sponsors are once again proud, in this the sixth year of these awards, to be at the forefront of celebrating the achievements of those driving this important regeneration process.
Seeking to promote projects which have helped to create sustainable and inclusive communities where people want to live, work and visit.
The waterways renaissance encompasses all types of projects and developments. As well as innovative engineering schemes, exciting multi-use developments and sustainable environmental initiatives, local communities are also investing time and energy in their waterways and reaping the benefits by creating cleaner, safer public spaces. Waterways are being transformed into accessible corridors connecting communities and offering sustainable transport and recreation opportunities.
